Throughout our lives our style is continually evolving. But does
it actually change? The
truth is, it definitely can change and I am putting myself in the
spotlight this week as I
discovered my very own style is going through a transformation.
This Dramatic/Romantic, Sporty gal has been finding herself craving
something
different…more ease, elegance and simplicity when it comes to my
style. I’m sharing
what I’m going through personally, as well as how you can evolve
your style just a little
– or a lot – so that it feels more like you!
If you find yourself feeling pulled to shift your style try these
tips to help you lean into it
and cultivate a look you love!
1/ Find a new style icon (listen to Ep. 23 for inspiration)
2/ Decide what your signature items make up your style icon’s look
and what yours will
be
3/ Reassess your hairstyle and play around with new options
4/ Update your makeup and beauty routine to be aligned with your
new style
5/ Play dress up in your closet and create new outfits that channel
this new look
6/ Try these ‘new’ outfits on and notice how they make you
feel.
7/ Create a Pinterest board to give you continual style
inspiration
8/ Experiment with new looks, pieces, colors and silhouettes
9/ Purge your closet of anything that is no longer serving you
10/ Ask for assistance; enlist the help of a style coach, your
favorite boutique owner or a
trusted friend/family member who can give you input on making this
style transition with
each into all facets of your life.
